Welcome to AttexATV's.com!

While growing up in a small farm community in eastern Ohio, I can remember my Parents driving by the Attex factory in East Palestine, Ohio. Each weekend we would pull to the side of the road, and watch the employees and factory racers exit the factory parking lot, and cross the main road, and race up into the woods. I can remember telling my Parents, "When I get big, I'm gonna' get me one of those things" Well now I have quite a collection of Attex aatv's Machines including a 1972 ST/400, 1973 295 Wild Wolf, 1977 500 Superchief, 1979 450 Tomahawk, 2 "Springer" racers with suspension, a "D-Stock" Factory Racer, and a 26hp V-Twin EFI Superchief. I thought that it would be interesting to make a website to stir up some interest in the old Attex machines. So I started out making a call to a retired Attex racer who in turn gave me a list of names of sales reps, company owners, champion racers, etc... I originally thought that I would come up empty handed. But now I am overwhelmed with info, facts, experimental stories, company history, etc. And not to mention that I have made some very good friends along the way. Many times throughout the Year We hold many amphibious 6X6 meets with a whole bunch of people meeting to just catch up, and sometimes to compete in ATV Rallies. We hope that You will become a member and We can meet You at these events. All events are open to any and all brands of aatvs!

A very special thanks to Joseph Haser, Don Kinyon, Mike Cummings, Gus Marrone, Lance Dolphi, Charles Smith, Randy McKay, Janet McKay, Howard Gerber, Jim Gerber, Bill Gerber, David Berger, George Martin, George Morish, Steve Carrette, Bobby Deen, and Larry Coleman for all of your help. I couldn't have done it without you!

Please send us pictures and/or videos of your Attex in action, or family members posing in your favorite machine, and we will post them the same day...

Sincerely,

David Copeland
